Pongbayog, also known as Florante Bayog Paghari-on, is a self-taught contemporary artist from South Cotabato, Mindanao. Renowned for his figurative paintings, Pongbayog creates profound and highly detailed imagery inspired by the human anatomy. His monochromatic oil paintings of the human body express a unique simulation of truth and sensibilities, transforming the ordinary into something breathtaking and celebrating the essence and spirit of his subjects.
