Andrew Fabricant is no longer chief operating officer at Gagosian, as per an email from gallery founder Larry Gagosian obtained by ARTnews. Fabricant’s wife, Laura Paulson, who has led the gallery’s art advisory since 2019, is also departing.
Larry Gagosian stated, “At this moment in the gallery’s evolution, we arrived at the point where I decided it was time for us to part ways. We are grateful for their contributions over the past several years and wish them well.”
Fabricant first worked with Gagosian in the 1980s and rejoined the gallery in 2018, becoming COO in 2019. In 2022, he joined Gagosian's board of directors, which includes prominent figures from various industries.
