ArtMoments Jakarta, one of the city’s most respected and anticipated art fairs, is returning this year with a renewed vision in a bold new venue
A leading Southeast Asian art fair returns to Agora Ballroom, uniting artists, collectors, and communities from 4–7 June 2026.

Jakarta, 28 April 2026, Indonesia—ArtMoments Jakarta returns for its highly anticipated 2026 edition, taking place from 4–7 June 2026 at Agora Ballroom, reaffirming its position as one of Southeast Asia’s leading platforms for modern and contemporary art. This year, the fair unveils a compelling new theme, “Offerings,” marking a shift in how art is experienced not merely as objects, but as gestures of meaning, dialogue, and connection.

In an evolving global art landscape where authenticity and narrative take center stage, “Offerings” reflects a growing movement toward art as an exchange of ideas, emotions, and cultural perspectives. The theme invites artists, galleries, and collectors to participate in a shared act of giving, where each work becomes a conduit for storytelling and human connection.

“‘Offerings’ reflects this evolution and positions the fair as a space where art becomes a form of giving, whether cultural, emotional, intellectual, or even spiritual, in response to a world that increasingly values meaning, connection, and authenticity,” said Sendy Widjaja, Co-Founder and Fair Director ArtMoments Jakarta.

Building on previous themes of “Renewal” and “Restoration,” this year’s edition moves into a more intentional phase—exploring what the art world offers back after a period of reflection and recovery. The result is a dynamic platform where artistic visions, curatorial direction, and collector engagement converge into a unified cultural dialogue.

A Curated Platform of Depth, Discovery, and Dialogue

ArtMoments Jakarta 2026 presents a rich program that balances legacy with innovation. Highlights include ArtMoments Masters, honoring influential modern and established artists, as well as curated exhibitions such as “Intimacy of Offerings,” which explores deeply personal interpretations of the theme. The fair also introduces Charity Moments, reinforcing art's role as a force for social impact.

Bringing together 75 exhibitors from across Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and South Korea, the fair creates a vibrant cross-cultural exchange that situates Southeast Asian art within a broader global conversation.

Visitors can expect a layered narrative that bridges generations of artistic expression. From pioneering Indonesian avant-garde figures such as Sudjana Kerton, S. Sudjojono, Mochtar Apin, Gregorius Sidharta, Made Wianta, and Jeihan Sukmantoro, to emerging voices like Demi Padua and Arifin Neif, the fair captures both historical depth and contemporary energy.

The experience is further enriched through diverse media, from the expressive works of the International Watercolor Society to evocative photography by Ted Van der Hulst. Interactive elements, including MobArt’s Kids Section and the launch of Carrot Card Season 2, introduce new ways for audiences, especially younger collectors, to engage with art in accessible, meaningful ways.

Departing from the conventional art fair format, ArtMoments Jakarta 2026 embraces a more holistic and participatory approach, shaped by a cohesive curatorial vision led by Jeong Ok Jeon. Anchored by the theme “Offerings,” the fair orchestrates a thoughtful dialogue between artworks, programs, and audiences—transforming the experience into one of exchange rather than observation.

This year places a stronger emphasis on accessibility and engagement, inviting both seasoned collectors and new audiences to explore modern and contemporary art with greater confidence. Strategic partnerships, including with Bank Central Asia (BCA), introduce added incentives such as cashback and 0% installment plans, making the journey into collecting both approachable and compelling.

Pan Pacific Jakarta Elevates the Experience Through Hospitality

Continuing its collaboration, Pan Pacific Jakarta returns as the official hotel partner, bringing a refined hospitality dimension to the fair. Inspired by the theme “Offerings,” the hotel interprets luxury as an act of thoughtful giving, with experiences curated with intention, detail, and meaning.

“As a destination rich in art and cultural heritage, this collaboration allows us to present hospitality as an offering beyond accommodation,” said Alasdair Davidson, Complex General Manager of Pan Pacific Jakarta and PARKROYAL Serviced Suites Jakarta. “We aim to create meaningful connections between art, cuisine, and our guests.”

As part of the program, Pan Pacific Jakarta hosted an exclusive media dinner at Eden Bar on 28 April 2026, alongside the ArtFace Welcoming Dinner at Keyaki Japanese Restaurant, both set on Level 90. Guests were taken on a curated culinary journey inspired by the exhibition, beginning with a bespoke welcome drink, followed by a thoughtfully composed set menu, and culminating in a dessert art performance designed to engage the senses.

The hotel will also introduce exclusive stay packages at both Pan Pacific Jakarta and PARKROYAL Serviced Suites Jakarta, offering guests an extended, immersive experience that seamlessly connects hospitality with the art fair.

A Cultural Platform for the Future

With its 2026 edition, ArtMoments Jakarta evolves beyond a traditional art fair into a cultural platform that fosters connection, dialogue, and shared experience. By positioning art as an offering—whether cultural, emotional, or intellectual—the fair reflects the growing desire for deeper meaning in both art and life.

As Jakarta continues to establish itself as a key cultural hub in the region, ArtMoments Jakarta 2026 stands as a testament to the city’s creative energy where art is not only seen, but felt, shared, and experienced.

About ArtMoments

Founded in 2015, ArtMoments is a premier art exhibition initiated by a group of Indonesian art collectors in collaboration with friends and art galleries. The journey of ArtMoments began with +ARTMOMENTS: JOGJA, held at the Jogja National Museum from June 7 to 30, 2015, before expanding its presence to Jakarta in 2018. Despite the challenges brought by the Covid-19 pandemic, ArtMoments Jakarta Online—a hybrid art exhibition—successfully took place from 2020 to 2021 and continues to be held both online and offline. In 2023, ArtMoments further expanded its reach to Bali through an exhibition themed Hotel Room Art Fair.
