Li Chen To AMJ 2019
One of the leading sculptors of our times, Li Chen was born in Taiwan in 1963 and has exhibited widely in Asia and Europe. His works are also collected by institutional and private collectors. Many of his works have been exhibited in the world's most iconic cities, places and events, including at the Venice Biennale, in Place Vendôme, Paris, Singapore and most recently at the Aurora Museum in Shanghai. Art Moments Jakarta will mark the first exhibition of Li Chen in Indonesia.
Art Agenda, S.E.A. will present a sprawling sculpture only booth at Art Moments Jakarta 2019, featuring two exhibitions: the first, a capsule survey exhibition of the leading Asian contemporary sculptor Li Chen and the second, a collection of rare to market sculptures by 20th century Indonesian and Indo-European artists. The booth will be designed in collaboration with leading Indonesian product designer Alvin Tjitrowirjo.
Art Agenda, S.E.A. was established in 2016 by former Christie's specialist, Wang Zineng and conducts exhibitions, auctions and private sales, centred on the secondary market for modern Asian art, with specialist expertise in Indonesian art.
